The Island-Pongwe Lodge is a brand new resort built on a small island in the middle of the stunning Pongwe bay in Zanzibar, just 45 minutes from the Stone Town airport. The hotel has only five exclusive bungalows (35 sqm, 2 pax) and one Sultan Villa (70 sqm, 2 pax) each one facing the ocean and with its own private terrace.

We know that a real diner eats first with his eyes, so the presentation and details are as important as the combination of flavours and fresh ingredients.
In-house guests have breakfast (7 am to 10 am) and the restaurant is open for walk-in from 10 am to 10 pm daily.
Our capacity is 50 seats between internal and external restaurant areas. The dress code is relaxed and informal.
