| The
Tembo House Hotel is an old fashioned and friendly hotel,
surrounded by historic buildings on the seafront in
Stone Town. The property, converted from a 19th Century
building, has two wings - one furnished in typical Zanzibari
style and the other in modern western style. Note that
the hotel is Muslim owned and does not sell alcoholic
drinks - but there are plenty of bars and restaurants
nearby.

Zanzibari wing, some of the rooms have stone baths and
intricate Arabic carvings. |
