Mtoni Marine Center

Mtoni is the only accommodation available on the West Coast of Zanzibar within easy reach of Stone Town. Set amid lush tropical gardens, it has its own private beach and swimming pool.
There is a variety of rooms and bungalows all with mosquito nets, air-conditioners and en-suite bathrooms.

Palm Court Rooms :
These elegant and spacious rooms built in an Arabic style, are furnished with king size Zanzibari beds and a sleeping couch. The bathrooms are spacious and beautifully tiled.
Club Rooms :
Cozy and authentically furnished, these traditionally palm thatched rooms are set within a tropical garden shadowed by an old mango tree.
Bungalows :
All bungalows have lounge and verandah facing the garden. Perfect for families.
Standard Rooms :
Set back from the beach and simply furnished, these timber buildings are set in a nice garden.

Mtoni Marine Restaurant :
Experience the fusion of continental cuisine and the spices of Zanzibar in our open-air beach restaurant. Theme nights: candlelit dining with live Swahili Jazz, Seafood Beach BBQ’s with African dances and Zanzibar Night with Taarab Orchestra music.

Mcheza Bar & Bistro :
For more casual dining, our beach bar and bistro offers pizzas prepared in fire wood ovens, char grilled specialties and exotic cocktails. Here we also offer live satellite sports events, games and a playground for children.

Facilities & Excursions

Beach and Swimming pool
Mtoni Marine Centre has the only beach close to Zanzibar Stone-Town. There is also a private beachfront swimming pool.

Dhow Cruises
The M.V. Umande, a traditional Arab Dhow is resident at the hotel to provide cruises and island trips to the guests.

Diving and Snorkeling
There is a 5 star PADI Dive center, which organizes diving and snorkeling from the hotel.

The Dhow Restaurant :
In the Stone Town Bay, facing the House of Wonders, we anchor the most romantic traditional sailing dhow. Specializing in fresh seafood dinners.
